When Healing Is Not a Shortcut: Integrity in Psychedelic Therapy, the 4th Symposium by Psychedelic Society Belgium, will be taking place on October 9–10, 2026 in Brussels, this year’s symposium invites an open and thoughtful exploration of the promises, limitations, responsibilities, and ethical challenges surrounding psychedelics in mental health and society. Across one and a half days of talks, dialogue, and exchange, we will bring together researchers, therapists, clinicians, policymakers, artists, and people with lived experience to engage with one central question:
How do we support a psychedelic field rooted in integrity, humility, responsibility, and care?
As interest in psychedelic-assisted therapies continues to grow internationally, we believe it is essential to create space not only for optimism and innovation, but also for critical reflection, nuance, and harm reduction.
