The promise of psychedelic-assisted therapies

Tadeusz Hawrot, Psychedelic Access and Research European Alliance (PAREA), discusses the inaugural meeting of PAREA - an organization created to raise awareness, provide evidence-based policy recommendations and accelerate scientific and policy response leading to the adoption of a holistic approach to psychedelic-assisted therapies in Europe. During the meeting, PAREA launched a call to action to European decision-makers to foster funded research, clinical trials, and evidence-based drug policies to catalyze psychedelic innovation. Psychedelic-assisted therapies show promise in treating mental, neurological, and addiction disorders. This interview took place at the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) 2022 Congress in Vienna, Austria.
