Welcoming three new Community Supporters to our network
We're pleased to welcome three new organisations to the PAREA Community Supporters network.
Global Psychedelic Society (GPS)
GPS connects the people building local Psychedelic Societies with each other, and with the people looking for them, so no one has to figure this out alone. From board members to event organisers, GPS supports the people juggling programming, social media, partnerships, and funding, often with fewer hands than the work calls for. Through the GPS Locator, a Starter Kit built on input from close to 100 leaders worldwide, and an online community called the Hub, GPS helps local Societies connect, grow, and access resources, scholarships, and partnerships.
Hungarian Psychedelic Association (Magyar Pszichedelikus Társaság)
The Hungarian Psychedelic Society is a multidisciplinary non-profit dedicated to advancing evidence-based psychedelic research and safe, ethical therapeutic applications in Hungary. Building on the legacy of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Research (MTPK), which operated from 2009 to 2024 and founded the Journal of Psychedelic Studies, the Association fosters research collaboration, professional education, and public dialogue grounded in science.
SÄPT (Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Psychedelika-assistierte Therapie)
SÄPT, the Swiss Society for Psychedelic-assisted Therapy, unites around 300 professionals across psychiatry, psychotherapy, neurology, palliative medicine, and general medicine. Founded in 1986, SÄPT publishes treatment guidelines, offers a training programme, runs an ombudsperson office, supports hospitals and outpatient practitioners in delivering therapy safely, and represents the field toward Swiss federal health authorities.
Welcome to the network! We're excited to collaborate and grow this work together.
