On 7 May 2026, policymakers, researchers, clinicians, people with lived experience, and civil society organisations gathered in Brussels for the inaugural meeting of PAREA.
How could evidence-based psychedelic therapies help address war-related mental health challenges in Ukraine, particularly PTSD among veterans? This was the main question of the European Parliament event held on 6 May, which Drugreporter captured on video in its entirety.
On 6th December, PAREA organized our first policy meeting in the European Parliament, looking at the basic ingredients of psychedelic novel treatments captured in the event’s title: “Psychedelic-assisted therapies in the treatment of brain disorders”.
